Top Hat Taxi & Tours Receives 2020 Flagstaff Award

Flagstaff Award Program Honors the Achievement
FLAGSTAFF June 23, 2020 -- Top Hat Taxi & Tours has been selected for the 2020 Flagstaff Award in the Taxi Service category by the Flagstaff Award Program.
Each year, the Flagstaff Award Program identifies companies that we believe have achieved exceptional marketing success in their local community and business category. These are local companies that enhance the positive image of small business through service to their customers and our community. These exceptional companies help make the Flagstaff area a great place to live, work and play.
Various sources of information were gathered and analyzed to choose the winners in each category. The 2020 Flagstaff Award Program focuses on quality, not quantity. Winners are determined based on the information gathered both internally by the Flagstaff Award Program and data provided by third parties.

Zero Tolerance policy

 The zero-tolerance policy 
Tophat taxi and tours has a zero tolerance drivers policy with regards to drugs and alcohol all drivers are subject to periodic random drug testing. (ARS § 28-9507) (d) On receipt of a passenger complaint alleging a violation of the zero-tolerance policy, the vehicle for hire company shall do both of the following:

1. Immediately suspend the vehicle for hire driver's access to the company's vehicle for hire.

2. Conduct an investigation into the filed complaint.  The suspension shall last the duration of the investigation.

E. If the vehicle for hire company's investigation confirms that the driver has violated the policy required by subsection C of this section, the vehicle for hire company shall permanently prohibit the driver's access to the company's vehicles for hire. The vehicle for hire company shall maintain enforcement records for at least two years after the date a passenger complaint is received by the company and make the records available to the department on request.
